Why be a worry-nut when you can eat stress free?

I came across an article today that identified yet ANOTHER compound found in store bought foods that isn't a food ingredient. Azodicarbonamide, a compound found in yoga mats, that is also found in close to 500 food products like Pillsbury Dinner Rolls and Wonder Bread. Azodicarbonamide is dough additive which allows bread to retain its texture.

Let's be honest, there are just too many articles debunking ingredients in store bought foods. As a result, I, like many, have become an avid label reader & limited my eating-out options. Nobody wants to eat a yoga mat for dinner and hence we've become overly conscious about where our food comes from & more importantly what's in it.

To forgo being a worry-nut and to ensure that I feed my body more nutrient-dense foods I've decided to follow three simple guidelines:

(1) Eat as many home cooked meals as possible (2) Only eat out at restaurants that use fresh ingredients (3) Stick to buying fresh foods vs. prepackaged at the grocery store

What guidelines do you follow to make sure you & your family eat nutrient-dense foods?

Be Radiant,
